When I first met Mary at school, she connected with me straight away in the Chameleons singing group. Totally dedicated, enthusiastic,  energetic, a tour de force of musical loveliness. She guided me and built up my singing confidence to sing the counter tenor parts and lose my self awareness. Sing from the heart, which ultimately gave me my confidence to be a professional musician. Her musicianship was second to none but all done through having fun. Boy did we laugh and what a gorgeous laugh she had. It was musical in itself! I am forever indebted to you Mary as I no doubt many many fine students are. You went above and beyond the call of duty ( You became my surrogate mum) and guided me through some very turbulent times at school. Sadly missed and forever in my heart.
